Nutritional Hints for a Healthy and Balanced Diet

1. Eat 5 meals a day , better than 4 and, no less than 3. They must be distributed among breakfast, lunch, dinner and 2 snacks, one in the middle of the morning and the other one in the middle of the afternoon.
2. Do not eat too much fried food.
3. Decrease the consumption of salt and salty foods.
4. Include an adequate amount of fiber on our daily food intake, which means to consume fruits and vegetables as well as whole grains on a daily basis. Do not forget the consumption of legumes, twice a week.
5. Consume fish 3 or 4 times per week.
6. Do not eat red meat more than twice a week.
7. Consume low-fat dairy food products.
8. Choose fresh fruit as dessert.
9. Drink alcohol beverages in moderation.
10. Drink about 1liter and a half or 2 liters of water a day.
11. Exercise regularly.
